Who are we?
Well, someone recently called us ‘icons in the Tourism Industry’. That we were, of course, pleased to read, but it is definitely not what we’re all about. Not self-glorification, certainly. More to put NAMIBIA firmly and factually on the Tourism map - and thus to pay back this awesome, wonderful land for all the pleasure it has given us since 1994. This place is simply incredible, you must visit! After all we can trot out platitudes such as ‘We pass his way but once’ or ‘This is not a trial run’
Our Website
The main purpose of our website is to bring tourism in Namibia to life in words and pictures. To give both potential overseas and local tourists lots of detailed knowledge that will support their holiday plans for Namibia. Vistors who have already been to this awesome land will surely benefit too. Our commitment is to be objective and definitive, to inform and to entertain; we look forward to this site become recognized as the most respected and valued tourism information site on Namibia.
We’ll focus on all the facts and figures, on articles and photographs, real opinion on every aspect of tourism in Namibia’s awesome land; North, South, East and West.
We want to cater for all manner of tourists: groups, individual visitors, those who want to fly-in and others who would rather self drive. We’ll cover the top end, middle and budget markets. Something for everyone.
There will be sections on the various regions of the country, its peoples, the cultures, the environment, the wildlife, the flora, the birders, mountains, rivers, deserts and some history too. Those seeking solace and solitude, visitors looking for adventure and adrenalin, hikers, bikers, 4×4 enthusiasts, twitchers, animal lovers and simply friends of nature.
