A CNA job will offer limited experience actually for PA school (as you do not do much nursing in PA school) but it is better than nothing. CMA experience is better, but the schooling is longer. Try also to volunteer in someplace like the ER as you will see procedures and medical practice in action which will be invaluable, and you can ask questions. Most Docs are happy to teach; also try for one where PAs work. Also, you can try for a job as a lab assistant and try & learn all you can about why tests are ordered and the physiology involved.
