How to Apply:

Direct Registration:
Applications may register once they arrive at the audition location.
(Applications who apply with email with have priority then applicants who apply at the audition location).

WHAT TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS:

Singers will be asked to sing acapella and without an MR and a microphone. Cover songs and original songs are allowed.

Dancers will be asked to dance freestyle. CD is to be brought by each individual applicant.

Actors/Actresses will be asked to do impromptu acting. Scripts/monologues are to be memorized and be brought by each individual applicant.

Models (Fashion, Commercial) will be asked to pose.

Composers/Lyricists will be asked to submit original CDs or musical scores.

I’m 19 years old and looking for a part-time job while on break from college this summer. I’ve never had an actual job. I have however worked for 3 months as a babysitter/nanny for a family. Should I include that information on my application? I’ve also had an unpaid internship.. should that be included as well?

(I’ll be applying at places such as American Eagle, Forever 21 etc.)

Yes Nanny is a very demanding intense profession. It will look good on application. Shows you do not lose you patience. Unpaid internship is good. No need to include it was unpaid. It goes toward your experience. Volunteer work is also usable if you handled tasks that show up your strengths.

I see one job that requires a high school diploma but three years of relevant experience. It’s a business analyst job with an HMO.
Okay. I have a college degree so I’ll just apply and see.

What they are serious about is demonstrated capacity to perform the function without extensive training. If you can demonstrate that capacity, then you are satisfying their needs.

If you have little to no relevant experience or education, your odds of being the person they want are not very good.

i am looking for work experience in a dental surgery or clinic in london. i tried most of the dental places and none of them do it. it does not matter how many days it is. i am doing my A levels and i need this work experience to aid me in my university application since am taking dentistry. does anyone know any place that might do it ?

If you lied about having work experience when in reality you have none, can an employer check to see if you are lying?

to be honest 85 percent of the time the employers dont even check. They just take your word unless this is a job that requires a college degree then for sure they call the refrences

I am applying to do research in the area of microbiology for graduate school. Can I use work experience that is not related to my field of study when filling in the graduate program application form or should I just leave it blank? I’ve only done some tutoring and temporary teaching after high school. I also did a 2-month internship at a research center for my undergraduate degree.

Hi Naia.

Any recognised and reputed institute would not just listen or believe without a certificate or recommendation from authorised person or institution.

As far as your tutoring and temporary teaching after high school is concerned you should not provide this in your application, but instead you can add this up during interview to elaborate your skills and capabilities.

But you should include the 2-month internship at a research center for your undergraduate degree, since that is related academically and with a certified proof as well, I suppose.

Does that include holidays? or just places you’ve worked?

I would assume holidays work too. Just don’t go putting disney world on there
