Video we shot for the 2009 A4 Driving Experience. Basically did a Tony Scott-style edit and JP did the awesome graphics and VFX animation.

This event featured a track run of the new 2009 Audi A4 comparison road test/race between a BMW 330i, Mercedes Benz C300/C350, Audi A4 3.2 Quattro, and a Lexus IS250. We tried to edit and make it as exciting as possible considering we couldn’t sit in the cars or move around the track that much, and this was the best we did. Hope you enjoy it.

Im a new driver, drove 15 hours so far in the past week and im doing really good, how long should I wait untill I try the expressway?

It is too soon.

You may want to start on the expressway on a Saturday morning, when there is no traffic. It gets a bit confusing when there is a lot of traffic.

my boyfriend who currently is a self employed driving instuctor for many years, has recently passed his licence to become a coach driver. he now has a PCV, class D licence and he is trying to get a job as a coach driver, however because he has no experience he is finding it difficult for coach companies to offer him a job. therefore can anyone tell me how he goes about getting more coach driving experience so he is able to get a job with coach companies?

He could maybe try the local service bus company, like First bus or Stagecoach.

good luck to him, and be prepared for long hours and not seeing him for days if he’s away on a trip.

Or can you just start your driving lessons with an instructor if you’ve never driven before?

No, you can start with the instructor. One of my friend’s didn’t have any experience, although it probably does help having a few hours of experience. My parents don’t want to take me out until I have a couple of lessons done.

I just got my permit today and I’ve already signed up for a class in July. It starts in two weeks. The problem is that I never drove before. I know this class teaches you about driving but is it ok that I never drove before?

There will be a wide range of experience levels in your driver’s ed classes. When signing up for driving times, the instructors may take differing levels of experience into consideration. You will most likely be paired to practice drive with other students at your level.

Don’t worry! There will be many people there who have never even been behind the wheel!!

Is the training the same for truck and bus drivers?

I am 24 years old.
I have been driving for almost a year.
My car has automatic transmission.

Your experience behind the wheel of a car is helpful, but irrelevant
there is a test you must take before getting your CDL. This will include a pre-trip inspection, and road test. It is a good idea to have access to the type of vehicle you intend to operate, as you will be required to pull some pretty tricky maneuvers on the road test. Secretary of State has a booklet you can study for the written, as well as, what to expect on the road test also there is a
pre-trip guide in the back of the book. A lot of people don’t realize this but, you can actually use this guide on the actual test! Good luck to you.
