Canadian work visas immigration laws work permit Toronto

April 52010

Niren Associates helps in securing Canadian working visa by completing and forwarding the work application form, taking in to consideration the specific legal category under which these workers are listed.

The client’s background, education, work experience and job offers are carefully analyzed prior to the work permit process. Work visas can be fast-tracked under the NAFTA agreement. In some cases, the Canadian employer has to apply at Service Canada, before applying for the work permit.

How do I get a job in an office with no previous experience?

April 22010

I suffer from severe social anxiety which makes it impossible for me to keep a job if it deals with customer service or even something that just involves answering phones.
I’m good with computers though I have no previous job experience proving it. How do I go about getting a simple clerical type job with no previous experience?

You can look on Careerbuilder or other internet job boards. Narrow the searches down by doing a search in your area for the word "mail" or "mail room". Most mail rooms will not require you to deal with customers and many will give you your own cubicle to work in so you dont have to work around too many people. Maybe 1 or 2 in an office environment. If you are willing to relocate, these type of jobs are a dime a dozen in the Bay Area California. If you rent an apartment the cheapest price would be about $700 if you are living outside the cities and then your average pay for this type of job would be between $14-18 an hour. If you are really having a hard time finding one on your own, you can go to officeteam or manpower. They both have sent me on office jobs because I knew how to type. I quit both and I dont like the idea that I would get paid alot more if I didnt go through them, but there good when ya got nothing. I worked in mail rooms for law firms, google, yahoo, places like that. In bay area theres lots of jobs like that, but Im sure you can find them in any city. If you really have a problem working with others, you can always learn to make money on the internet if you need to. I learned affiliate marketing, domains and stuff like that. Heres a tutorial for domains http://www.richkits.com/domains You can make some good money or just part time with that but I also recommend you learn how to sell things. Like on ebay or ecrater or craigslist, even on your own website. Just learn how to do anything on the internet and it will lead into learning other things. If you happen to look in careerbuilder for jobs you should also remember to make sure you are checking surrounding areas…like cities that are 20 miles away and stuff if you are able to drive.

How can I get a job without prior job experience?

March 312010

It seems like every job I apply for requires prior job experience. So how does anyone get a job for the first time?

Everybody gets their first job without experience!!!

Apply, apply, apply; be realistic: don’t apply for the CEO’s position; but, give youself credit for the good grades you made in school; the hobby you excelled at; the special talents you have.

Don’t apologize for not having a prior job; simply state that you will do the best job you can.

Don’t mention your insecurities or shortcomings; simply state that you are here to begin and that you are willing to learn.

Any personnnel director worth their salt will hire you if you are honest, sincere, and earnest.

GOOD LUCK!!!

How can I get job experience when nobody hires?

March 252010

I have a Library of Science (masters) degree but I need experience to get a job. Any advice?
I have thought about volunteering and also part-time employment with a masters of library science, but my professors in school had told me that doesn’t look good on my resume. Any comments?

You may need to get an intership or part-time job. Where are you looking? For instance, you can get experience in this field by working for the judicial system, in a law firm, in medical records at a large hospital or in human/social services. Also check for a part-time at your local library. If all else fails, get a K-12 media specialist endorsement and work in the public schools for a while.
