BZ Community Class- Monica Parales & Anthony Ladao Interview
February 282010
MEET ANTHONY LADAO
At 11 years old he walked in to his first dance class in Issaquah Washington with his future mentor Bryan Tanaka as his teacher……..That was it……The day Lil’ Tanaka was born! Anthony Ladao became the youngest member of Breed in 2005 showing the dance community in Seattle that a 12 year old could make well trained dancers and choreographers stand up and take notice. His professional experience includes dancing and choreographing for the Seattle WNBA/NBA dance teams, a dance role in Nickelodeon’s “Re-animated” movie, Disney XD commercial, Macy’s Passport 08 fashion show, Bollywood Music Video, and continually teaching workshops and classes for Breed, Cruz Control and Westlake Dance Center in Seattle Washington. In 2006, at the age of 13, Anthony was invited to audition for Janet Jackson in Los Angeles along with 2500 other talented dancers. Anthony eventually made it into the group of top 25 finalists getting the attention of Janet Jackson and her management team, Kenneth Creer and Johnny Wright. Currently, Anthony is working with Wright Creer Management on a project that will not only showcase his talent in dance but also introduce his abilities to sing, act and write…. Stay tuned! Anthony has been blessed to experience more with his dance at the age of 14 than most will in a lifetime…. “My gift of dance is my passion… and there is no better feeling than sharing it with others”
MEET MONICA PARALES
From Long Beach, California, Monica Parales started training at 8 years old. A year later, she booked her first music video with Missy Elliott’s “Gossip Folks”, directed by Dave Meyers. From there Monica booked a TV special on the WB called “The Jamm X Kids” which included her talents of acting, dancing, and singing. In 2005 Monica Parales made Team Millennia Juniors in Fullerton, CA. Monica has taught workshops and a class for Team Millennia’s Summer Intensive Dance Camp. Today at the age of 15, she is currently dancing for TM Juniors, Offspring, Sheroes, and the entertainment industry. She hopes to teach more and more classes and is very excited to teach her first Boogiezone Class! WEEEEEE!!!
