Suggested to expand your self forgiveness to considering the first moment you used weed – that very first ’source experience’ that drove you into the decision to use weed – and then from there – what ‘conversational thoughts’ you had with yourself that justified you using weed.

Also – what particular specific ‘experience’ arise within you that ‘drive you to use weed’ – instead of seeing what the experience in itself is showing/revealing to you – then you use weed to suppress it – instead of facing it directly in the moment it arise.

Observe the specific thoughts that come up – how you literally within and through your thoughts – ‘talk yourself into taking weed’ – stop such thoughts immediately within yourself – don’t accept/allow such thoughts to accumulate to a conversation you have with yourself wherein you’ll talk yourself into taking weed through justification.

As you originate the specific reactions and thoughts that come up – you apply self forgiveness and simply stop yourself from participating in them when you see they come up – the key is self forgiveness and the self corrective action, living the self forgiveness applied – through simply no more accepting/allowing you to participate in the mind, the thoughts and reactions that you know through which you’ll drive you to smoke weed.
