What has been the best writing experience you have had?

One particular scene had me close to tears. (I’m not a particularly emotional person most of the time.) It was mainly about how my narrator’s wife had been raped, or nearly raped, while they were apart, and she couldn’t bring herself to tell him, but he said he would stand by her and help her to get over whatever it was that was troubling her.
And then I cut it in the second or third draft. Because it didn’t move the story forward enough, and didn’t quite fit with what I’d decided about the bad guys who might’ve done whatever it was to the wife.
Nobody said this was easy, did they?

My best writing experience made me cry. It was so emotional. It was raw.

I must say, I’m pleased with one my own books I’m writing. (Yur.)
The skin broke apart into flaps that moved outward with a bone like substance that appeared from beneath. The skin rooted its self into the bone as two holes emerged on top of the now obvious beak. Grey feathers began to spurt from his pores covering his face and body. His hands became talons from the wrist down but his hind legs became like that of a bird. Wings ripped out from the back of the leather jacket that he wore. His eyes opened revealing stunning brown eyes that shined though there was no sun.

Doing well in all college writing courses so much so that I am debating on whether or not to get a degree in writing.
I have enjoyed all my writing courses including poetry and even business writing.
My degree is in business but my love is in writing where I excelled.

There was one day when the school was closed because of snow, so I decided to spend my day starting some writing. I got some herbal tea, sat down at my desk, and got into the zone.
For some reason, I’ll never forget that experience, and looking back on what I wrote on that day, it was definitely the best writing experience I’ve ever had.
